2009 Summer Session

Registration for the 2009 Summer Session opens May 1st. Registration forms are available at the Learning Center. Class size and enrollment are limited, so please register early to avoid disappointment.

The 7-week Summer Session begins Monday, June 22nd, and ends on Thursday, August 6th. Tutoring groups (classes) meet Monday through Thursday, four days each week. Students may enroll in one or more of the three classes (8:00—10:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m.—12:45 p.m., 1:30—3:30 p.m.).

Calendar and rates are below. Please remember that there is no credit or refund for missed classes. Limited scholarships are available for those in financial need.

During the Summer Session, our emphasis is on helping students improve their skills through course review and enrichment activities. An individualized curriculum is designed for each student after placement testing and discussion with parent(s) and student. Students work in small groups (usually 3-4 students per teacher or teacher aide) with a highly skilled and enthusiastic instructor. Pupils receive individual attention, focusing on the subjects they need to study and their individual problems, and progress at their own pace, moving from one topic to the next as they are ready. We can also provide private classes and one-on-one tutoring.
